Sultans Night was an immersive evening inspired by the grandeur of the Ottoman Empire, hosted at Istanbul’s iconic Basilica Cistern—an extraordinary historical setting transformed into an elaborate world of culture, gastronomy and live entertainment. The experience began with an atmospheric entrance adorned with rich fabrics, traditional lanterns and warm lighting, introducing guests to the evening’s Ottoman-inspired setting. Inside the Cistern, centuries-old columns became part of an intricate event design featuring luxurious textiles, decorative furnishings, intimate lounge areas and carefully curated lighting. Throughout the evening, guests explored a traditional Turkish market offering authentic culinary specialties and interactive cultural experiences, including calligraphy, henna artistry and Turkish coffee rituals. A series of theatrical performances brought the Ottoman theme to life, with traditional musicians, elaborate costumes, dancers and historical characters creating an engaging atmosphere throughout the venue. The entertainment program combined cultural performances with contemporary production, from whirling dervishes and Ottoman-inspired processions to aerial artistry, choreographed dance performances and dynamic lighting effects. As the evening progressed, the Cistern evolved into a vibrant celebration, with a DJ, live performances and immersive visual elements creating a seamless transition from the historical atmosphere to a contemporary party.
